Details
The addition of carbon fibres, PTFE and graphite to virgin PEEK results in a PEEK "Bearing Grade" (colour: black). Its excellent tribological properties (low friction, long wear and high pressure-velocity capabilities) make this grade especially suited for wear and friction applications.
Material Characteristics
- Lowest coefficient of friction for all PEEK grades
- Best machinability for all PEEK grades
- Excellent combination of low wear, low friction, high LPV, low mating part wear and easy machining
- Ideal for aggressive service bearings
